"...say a prayer for that nurse! Maybe God put you two together because she needs prayers." What an excellent thought! Thank you!

You have been in my family’s prayers for weeks. Thank you for conveying your experience. It is a timely warning to us all.

Gee, thanks.
I’ve been on other, explicitly non-political sites.

Thanks for the prayers. I was reduced to zero --- to nothing, really, physically, intellectually, spiritually ---- but Jesus permitted every deficit of mine to be supplied by the Communion of Saints --- by the prayers of people like you and your family.
Thank you with all my heart.

Thank you, Mrs. Don-o, for getting back. I don’t think my m-i-l’s mother had Tourette’s, as this was very sudden like, but maybe a stroke or some sort of infection as you suggest as a possibility. I know it really surprised those who knew about it.
Most of all, though, it’s just great that you are on the mend. Jesus is not through with you yet, eh? Now I suppose the ball’s in your court and you have to figure out what He wants you to do. (Or do you have an inkling?) Regardless, I’m sorry for all of your sufferings, and I’ll join the others now in prayer too. God love you (and Mr. Don-o too).

Thank you for your continuing prayers, for me and for Don-o too. My main job right now is still getting better. I spent most of the day dozing in bed. I'm very weak but I do have to exercise (starting tomorrow!) to prevent further loss of muscle, and of course to gain new muscle.
New appreciation of human frailty! Jesus, be my strength!
St. Catherine of Siena, pray for us!

Barukh HaShem! May you continue to go from strength to strength.

Thank you for your kind words, lj.
I feel like I lost 2 months of my life in the ICU and on the ventilator. But they were the bitter-cold months from mid-January to the end of February, so I can't say I yearn to have them back :o)
You know about the doctrine of the Communion of Saints, that we all share spiritual goods with each other? I have been much the beneficiary of that far-flung partnership.
Things are so mysterious.
Thank you again.
