With her bizarre, clownish make-up, her Clarabel the Clown orange fright-wig, her cryogenically-preserved frozen face and her monotone R2-D2 droid vocal delivery, MacLaine is evidently the comic relief for Downton Abbey.

Fortunately, she's not in too many scenes, she's so awfully-awful.

If she isn't written out of the series as quickly as possible she should be, at the least, sent to the Tower and kept there in chains with Lord Hee-Haw till the London Blitz starts in Season 24 of the series.
