Some people do indeed have way too much free time. We need a universal statute of limitations to deal with this kind of idiocy. If someone did someone else wrong, and it was more than 100 years ago, then the discussion belongs in a history book or some branch of academia where people are paid to debate about topics with no relevance to the real world as it currently exists.
That’s a question for arthurus.
It's not about Catholic bashing; it's about correcting the horrendous errors Rome continues to teach, and sadly, so many continue to believe. Oddly enough, If you read your catechism, you'll find that Catholics and Mohammedans are, according to Rome, the two "religions" that have God in common... so I find it odd that you would have me go join ISIS.
I have no desire to cut the heads off of Catholics; I would, instead, hope and pray that The Lord sees fit to open your heart to your need of Him... not Mary, not saints, not Purgatory, not works to earn salvation.... you need Christ and Him alone.
Funny. That'd make a good tagline.

No. I'm turned off by your ignorance and your accusatory tone.
Your ignorance is what prompts you to think that since I left the RCC that I'm not a proper Christian. Your accusatory tone speaks for itself.
My decisions are my own. You assume overmuch about me and a great many things. If you dislike the things I post here...don't read them.
To conclude, this is not a reply in a conversation. I'm done with you.
The “Discovery bulls” were intended as a conscripting captured enemies (chiefly Muslims) into service of the Colonial governments, preventing them from “re-enlisting” in jihad against Christianity. Shamefully, they were used to justify the slavery of indigenous peoples.
But this is why there is no need to rescind them: they no longer have any force, and have already been superceded. This quest is about misrepresenting potentially scandalous documents out of context.
Rather thin-skinned for somebody who encompasses the word “bloody” in your moniker...
Why not? Y'all stay in because of 2000 year old imagined doctrines.

Granted them the right to take over the rest of the world?
And Catholicism STILL thinks it has say over the world and other people's souls.
And just what kind of chutzpah made the Catholic church think it had the right to tell others what they could and could not do in non-religious matters?
Who gave the RCC authority over the rest of the world to tell the other part of the world they could take it over?
Looks like it, dan.....
That sounds like a judgmental, bigoted comment to me.
Name calling is just always so effective. It gives so much credibility to the name caller.
That's the coward's way of dealing with stuff.
It's the same as Catholics saying that the RCC does not need to ex-communicate someone like Kennedy officially because pro-abort politicians have already ex-communicated themselves.
It's simply an excuse for not manning up and taking some responsibility for something. It's weak and spineless.
Amazing. I am going to read some of that stuff....it’s too good to pass up!
In response to your query as to when they were going to show up, as if it has not usually been due to the constant posting of article by RCs about their elitist church, and attacks on us.
Now back to the question. Is it anti-Catholic to disagree with a papal Bull or encyclical? Or interpret it?
If you have a problem with Catholics posting articles, why don’t you take it up with the owner?
Personally, I like these Papal Bulls. I think Europeans conquering the New World was a very good thing. As an American, I think you’d agree with that...or go back to your ancestors’ country.
Met mom - based on your posting, I hope you will agree to go back to what ever hellhole you and your ancestors came from. My family came from both the Irish famine and the anti-Semitism of Poland. We’re happy to be here and thank God someone conquered the New World.
They are already discussing it! Does Jesus save aliens?
I’m a bigot.
Mary is dead.
Dead saints can’t help with nobody’s prayers.
Novenas don’t work.
...could it be...
