Oooookay.
Good to know they have so much time on their hands to think this one up.

While they’re renouncing previous exploration, perhaps the Vatican could pass an encyclical or whatever condemning any future exploration into outer space.

Canadas Truth and Reconciliation Commission is weighing whether to ask the Vatican to repeal the Papal Bulls of Discovery that granted 15th-century explorers the right to conquer the New World and the heathen aboriginals that called it home. Chair Murray Sinclair says the commission examining the impact of Canadas Indian residential schools is looking carefully at the 1455 and 1493 Catholic edicts as part of its final report. Are they planning on paying reparations while they're at it?

Does this mean all Hispanics living south of the border will have to go home to Europe?

Oh, for heaven’s sake, the only time history matters is when Western civilization loses.

I wonder if they are secretly afraid that Spain and Portugal will invade Canada and claim it for their own, since they are mostly ‘heathen’ Protestants and secularlists? (semi-sarcastic)

I doubt that the English Protestant kings who ruled Canada gave any thought whatsoever to any Papal decrees.

Would that mean that We would all have to move back to Europe or Asia or Africa and give the Americas to genetically pure descendants of pre Columbian America?

If we are repealing bulls, let’s start with Unam Sanctam.
“...There is one holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, outside of which there is neither salvation nor remission of sins...”
“...Indeed we declare, say, pronounce, and define that it is altogether necessary to salvation for every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.”
Rubbish!!!!

The conquistadors rolling into Aztec areas was like the Allied armies liberating Auschwitz and Dachau. Basically ISIS with astronomy.

“those papal bulls and neither Canada nor the United States has repudiated them”
why would America need to repudiate a Papal Bull from 1455 and 1493?

Canadas Truth and Reconciliation Commission (both individual members and corporate entities thereof) can start by unilaterally signing over all their real estate to public domain, and moving back to wherever the oldest fork on their family tree takes them. If they won’t, I won’t.
