Would you make so specious a comparison when speaking of the Republican voter base and the GOPe? Cardinals are more politicians than priests.

I have no doubt of that, but who then are the spiritual leaders in your church, if not the bishops, cardinals, and popes?

Francis is an environmentalist...he made that very clear when he spoke previously saying that his role was to be “Protector” of creation..environment and nature”. March 19,2013
He further stated when meeting with Government Officials..March 2013....”In the work WITH governments the role of religion is fundamental”.....sounds Romanish to me....but is exactly what the code of cannon law states....(#1405)
He is going to use the catholic church’s influence as a civic entity.....
Please post a link to these encyclicals. I have seen a lot of his personal ad lib opinions. Missed the encyclicals.

EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy told reporters that her aim in visiting was to show the Vatican how aligned President Barack Obama and Francis are on climate change. She said she wanted to stress that global warming isn't just an environmental issue, but a public health threat, and yet also a chance for economic opportunity.”
This is the encyclical I was referring to. Why is Francis allowing the Obama Administration to influence the Vatican and to hitch the Obama Admininistration’s fraudulent climate change message to the Pope and therefore the Catholic Church?
I can only assume stupidity and/or a lack true spiritual values.
