Not by me, not anymore.
I guess such a partnership makes sense. A commie administration and a commie pope.

If I wasn't already a lapsed Catholic, I would be after this.

re: respecting Pope Francis
He's gotten involved with comments supporting the invasion of the US over our southern border. He took sides, and that against many devout Cubans living in the US, concerning Cuba. And now the WH is trying to involve the Pope in climate change politics.
Pope Francis does not seem to have the "render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are God's" concept nailed down. It's disturbing.
If Pope Francis is going to speak out about anything, how about it being the slaughter and imprisonment of Catholic school children in Nigeria? I'm not liking his priorities.

In a bid to bolster the Obama administration's "moral" case for combating climate change, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency will meet senior Vatican officials Friday to enlist papal support for its policies. EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy said Pope Francis, who has become a vocal climate advocate since his 2013 election, can be an ally for President Barack Obama's Climate Action Plan. Is this before or after the pope crosses over from the Mexican border?

Scientists are always trying to usurp the power of God.
+++++
One day a group of scientists got together and decided that man had come a long way and no longer needed God. They picked one scientist to go and tell Him that they were done with Him. The scientist walked up to God and said, “God, we’ve decided that we no longer need you. We’re to the point that we can clone people and do many miraculous things, so why don’t you just go on and get lost.”
God listened patiently and kindly to the man and, after the scientist was done talking, God said, “Very well! How about this? Let’s have a man-making contest.”
To which the man replied, “OK, great!”
But God added, “Now we’re going to do this just like I did back in the old days with Adam.”
The scientist said, “Sure, no problem” and bent down and grabbed himself a handful of dirt.
God just looked at him and said, “No, no, no. You go get your own dirt!”
