David may have been a good guy as a young man, but he was a depraved murderer as a king. And Jesus said that whoever lusts already has committed adultery in his heart and John reiterates that whoever hates his brother is guilty of murder in his heart.
There's not one of us who is exempt from that. NOBODY is in any position to point any fingers.
