Studying the human provenance of the NT is fascinating. And nothing has been MORE critically studied than these texts. They stand the test of every kind of skeptical and searching critical evaluation.
That's a big part of what's going to collapse Islam. A real critical evaluation of the Koran. Their faith looks "strong" but it is brittle. It cannot withstand real scutiny.
AND THEY -- esp. the ones who have been exposed to Western higher education --- KNOW IT. That is part of why they want to wipe out the cradle-lands of Christianity and Judaism NOW: so all ancients roots, and the evidence of Islam's crackpot plagiarism, text-twisting and vandalism, and madcap, makeshift, maniacal morality, are destroyed.
They won't succeed, but the next decade is not going to be fun.
What I see is that down the road, if there is any more attacks coming from the Muslim jihadis, there will be, mark my works such an angry backlash against anyone or anything Muslim that could take on the trappings of a new global war.
