The green movement is anti-Christian.

The whole point of “being green” is to “work” for your own salvation by your advocacy and “caring about the erf”.

Hmmm... maybe it DOES fit, though - the whole “works-based salvation” thing, that is.

I don’t think “being green” and “salvatin by works” are one and the same, though I’m sure there is some cross-over.

To the best of my knowledge, the Green Movement does not have, nor even claim to have, a theology of salvation. They are, for the most part, focused on "this world" and evince no direct interest in the next one.

To equate environmentalist goals with a transcendent soteriology --- even an erroneous one --- would be, I think, a category mistake.
