I’ve been watching a program by David souochet (Poirot) called “In the footsepts of St. Peter”. Souchet takes us through all of those sites and discussed the lives of the people who lived there at the time of St. Peter and Jesus.
The question arises — is the Sea of Gallilee salt water, or fresh water?

I’ve been to that excavation site twice in the past two years. Pretty cool.

I watched several hours of a program last night about the area and time in which Jesus was born, grew up and died. It was very fascinating. Things that have been learned through excavations of the area. I recorded it and I will watch it again for anything thing that I might have missed.
