Always looking for Sunday morning music while I get ready to go to church, I came across this very pleasing (to me) playlist
I hope you enjoy
Thank you Just what I needed this morning.
Best reply I’ve ever received in FR ... thanx.
Excellent list. Haven’t heard, “Till the Storm Passes By” in several years. We do not have any organist or piano lead in our small church, so maybe today I’ll this. Thank you.
One day I was walking past the desk of a former colleague and he stopped me to watch a video of a band. I asked who it was and he told me it was his sons worship band at a large local mega church.
They were playing what he said was their “call to worship” on a Sunday morning.
It was a rather good rendition of “Barracuda” by Heart.
Huh? Heart and worship were never used in the same sentence before.
Decided right then I’d never darken the doors of that church.

I never heard it before I read this thread. It was composed by Mosie Lister in 1958, but it sounds like it was written in the late nineteenth century. More information on the song is available here.
Thank you for posting this list. It’s difficult to find traditional hymns and gospel songs on Youtube that are not presented in “modern” arrangements. The tunes here include works by some of the greatest hymn writers of the Chriswtian faith, including Horatius Bonar, Fanny Crosby, Walter and Civilla Martin, Charles Gabriel and Lowell Mason.
