Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.

Reading the mind of another Freeper is a form of "making it personal."

I guess I might have said:

It seems as though you are rejecting God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit if you are rejecting your Baptism and your First Communion in the Catholic Church.

I actually feel sorry for you and will say a prayer for you.

How about this movie about a strong-willed Southern belle Catholic, who “as God as her witness” would not hungry again.
IMHO the greatest movie ever made.

I’ve long thought about watching “The Mission” but have heard it is very gory. Of course, this is realistic when considering the martyrdoms of the Jesuit-missionaries.

I am amazed The Mission is even on the list. Not only is it bad history but at the time of release was widely, and correctly, condemned for being anti-Catholic. While the story of moral regeneration on the part of De Niro was moving, don't forget the villain of the piece was the very Church this list recommends.

Oh, I didn’t know that Robwin. Although I do know that priests, nuns, and the Church are frequently demonized in modern entertainment.

The Mission

Wasn't this a Sojourners favorite?
