Pray for our American Heroes

Dear Father our King,

'O Lord of Hosts, God of Israel Enthroned Above the Cheribum, You Alone are God of All the Kingdoms of the Earth.' (Is.37:16) The Nations Rage and would Dethrone Thee, but You Alone are Sovereign Lord-King. Your Children Worship You, and Thank You for Life and for Grace. Our Magnificent God, we Love to Magnify Your Name! You have Cast our Sins to the Depths of the Sea, and Cleansed us with the Blood of Jesus Christ. Accepted through Grace, and Forgiven in Love, we Arise to Walk in Newness of Life.

Our Master, our Hearts Ache Over the Transgressions of our Backslidden Land. We Plead for Forgiveness for our Personal and National Sins. We Stand Upon 2 Chronicles 7:14: 'If My People, which are Called by My Name, shall Humble themselves, and Pray, and Seek My Face, and Turn from their Wicked Ways; then will I Hear from Heaven, and will Forgive their Sin, and will Heal their Land.' May Thy Kingdom Come Soon, Lord; Your Kingdom of Life, Peace, and Grace.

How can we Thank You Enough for our Troops? These Brave Ones have Sacrificed All for America's Sake. O You Whose Tender Mercies are Over All Your Works, Grant them Great Blessings, Lord God. For Each One we Pray 1Thess. 5:23: 'May his Spirit, Soul, and Body be Preserved Blameless Unto the Coming of Jesus Christ.' Thank You, Lord, for Your Goodness and Your Love. 'Gracious is the Lord, and Righteous; Yea, our God is Merciful.' (Ps.116:5)

We Ask, our Caring Lord, for Strength for Your Persecuted Church. Our Father Jehovah, may Your Light Shine through them, to Your Praise. Please Surround them with Your Presence, O Shepherd-King. May their Tormentors Repent, through Jesus' Grace.

We Love You, our Wonderful God! Be Exalted Forever, through Endless Eternities to Come. In Jesus' Name, for the Glory of the King, amen.

IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered his prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His Manifold Blessings upon the new Nation.

FROM THE BRAVE, albeit weary, ill-equipped, and untrained volunteers who marched into Valley Forge on 19 December 1777 arose, with the help of some gallant friends from across the waves, the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, global defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.

AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high in that bleak Winter, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and gather them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

HEAVENLY FATHER, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these valiant men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear.
