I hate to say it, but the Pope prayed in silence because anything else would offend the Muslims—unless he converted on the spot.
But when the Imams visit a Catholic Church, they never hesitate to come out with “There is no god but Allah, and Mohammed is his Prophet!”
Not exactly a fair exchange.
Did he make the sign of the cross when praying, the Muslims I am sure are offended by the cross and the victory over sin accomplished there.

Truth. And yet that is exactly how being “unequally yoked” works. Those we “reach out to” bite our beckoning hands, grab ‘em, then drag us into THEIR world.
I have moments of hopefulness that some Muslims will be saved by Jesus Christ. What a damnable invention Islam is! It’s inventor is indeed damned, but is currently running to a fro seeking whom he may devour. I long for the Day Jesus destroys him forever. Even so, Come! Lord Jesus!
