Well, heck, they are casting a black guy to be Johnny Storm in the next Fantastic Four movie. Sue Storm and Johnny Storm are brother and sister. They aren’t casting a black woman as Sue Storm, either. It requires a stretching of the original story, unintended but obscure pun about Mr. Fantastic.

I don’t really have a problem with a black guy being The Human Torch, if he is a good actor. I’m just saying.

Nick Fury became black too and never server in WWII.

The retrocontinuity is what it is.

There was talk of remaking the Annie musical movie and making her black this time (Will Smith’s daughter).
