Thank you. That is a lot to digest. Especially after the food yesterday.
God bless.
Again, your list is fine if they were being consulted about a biopic about a reformation figure that is being marketed to a protestant audience. However, they are being consulted about a new testament adaptation that is being marketed to all Christians. Your list is no more appropriate for that purpose than if I were to come up with an exclusively Catholic list of consultants and claim they represent a diversity of Christendom. You would rightfully complain that those consultants would be appropriate for something that airs on EWTN, not for something marketed to all Christians.
>> are you happy with Osteen and Jakes being 50% of the experts? <<
I'm not happy with their choices, but that's Hollywood for you. I've heard their "Noah" adaptation is pretty much a bizarre sci-fi movie that has almost nothing to do with Genesis, so if A.D. turns out to actually be faithful to the New Testament figures, I will be pleasantly surprised. When Mel Gibson wanted to do a faithful version of version of Christ's crucifixion, he pretty much had to self-fund and do it outside the usual Hollywood system.

Again, there is Papist representation on the panel. I didn’t object to his presence, only the two heretics.
On the real panel, yes, not on your proposed improved version.

Well since you don't see Cardinal Wuerl as a heretic, I suppose its a positive sign. He wouldn't be my ideal choice for a panel anyway, though I agree he's a better choice than Jakes and Osteen.
