Keep on praying and guard your prayers with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2
OH GOD, we ask that YOU help us guard our hearts and prayers in HOPE. We know that thanksgiving is the fountain of all praise, because LORD, it is directed toward YOU. So we pray today, surrounded by YOUR GOODNESS, for our beloved sons and daughters, husbands and wives and friends. We thank you LORD, for instilling in these a love for YOU, a love for their families, a love for freedom, a love for our nation. May YOU take the prayers of our hearts and use them to surround and protect them.
Dear LORD, we thank YOU for our great nation that found its reason to exist in YOU. It can become too easy to get discouraged as we desire to see change and righteousness renewed in our land. But LORD, if we guard our prayers with THANKSGIVING, we remember who YOU ARE, what YOU HAVE DONE, and how YOU have MERCY upon all that repent and call upon YOUR NAME. So we pray with this HOPE. Amen.
And LORD we thank YOU for the families of our beloved heroes. Please bless them beyond our ability to even think. May their love guard their longings till they are reunited. And in those times of quiet prayer when they think of each other, may they be united with YOU.
We THANK YOU that YOU ARE THE ONLY TRUE GOD, whose NAME is TRUTH AND JUSTICE. THANK YOU for hearing our prayers and bringing home Sgt. Tamorressi. THANK YOU for standing along side Darren Wilson as the nation waited upon this verdict. We pray, with THANKSGIVING, for our persecuted who we know are working THY WILL, and spreading THY TRUTH, among the nations, and pray specifically for Pastor Saeed. We ask all these things in JESUS Name, Amen.
Amen to every word.
