This isnt the first time a prominent Catholic had good words for a Protestant counterpart. Half a century ago, Bishop Fulton Sheen said that when Billy Graham died, the Catholic Church should declare him a saint. This was praise from one great evangelist to another. I can think of a number of Catholics who would disagree with Sheen about Graham's character.
