Tom Perry and his wife, Barbara Perry along with Jon Huntsman and his wife, Mary Kaye Huntsman, were honored at Catholic Community Services’ annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner at Little America Hotel in downtown Salk Lake City. Mary Kaye Huntsman has launched two youth programs called Bag of Hope and Power in You. The Catholic Community Service said that Jon and Mary Kaye have worked tirelessly in pubic service and to help those in need...

OK, yes I added the bracketed word [sic] -- but did NOT add anything to the above other than highlighting MidUtahRadio.com's identification of what kind of "service" that the Huntsmans were supposedly engaged in...
I am sure MidUtahRadio will "correct" this at some point...so don't blame the messenger here...

So the posting of this thread is a public service announcement for those of us who may have been confused by the midutahradio.com story, thinking that the Huntsmans are in pubic service.
I appreciate you clearing that up, because it appeared at first to be a kind of juvenile (potty language) joke (not that there’s anything wrong with that) on the religion forum. With the Mormon Huntsmans as the butt of the joke.
#2 I didn't even notice the typo until I was posting reply #1 & was doing the cut & paste. IoW the reason I posted the article to begin with was that I thought it was on the unique side to see Catholics were giving Mormons awards.
I only highlighted the typo because I thought it might draw more "check out under the hoods" glances from readers...which, btw, is the very purpose of any headline.
If it's become your (DMZ, Lewislynn) passion to weakly attempt to judge the motivations of other posters without bother to ask...go for it. (Grow up; but, hey, go for it) Just don't pretend that you're very good at it.
(Now, if anybody wants to comment as to why Catholics are giving Mormons awards...I'd be interested in seeing those posts)
