Plus he said some time back that he could do at most another 2 or 3 years at best. Would not be surprised if he like Pope Benedict, step down also.

Bet Burke’s regal raiments in that photo explain to a high degree the pope’s disapprobation of him. Francis sees ostentatiousness as ill befitting the clergy.

You mean like these?

"The Cardinal should offer it up and shut up."

Has he been complaining? I haven't heard anything.

But as a preacher I hope he continues to preach and mark heretics.

The more I see this kind of thing, the more I become convinced Burke could well be our next Pope.

God is giving Burke the path that always leads to great sanctity and therefore great value for the Church: exile, humiliation, and obedience.

I do too.I like him a lot.
“Cardinal Raymond Burke has said he is at the service of Pope Francis, has no personal animosity towards him, and those who claim the American cardinal is an opponent of the Pontiff are trying to discredit him.
The head of the Vatican’s highest court also told Breitbart Tuesday the Catholic Church risks schism if bishops are seen to “go contrary” to the Church’s established and unchangeable dogmas in the months ahead.”

I've heard that Pope Francis disliked the Cappa Magna, but Burke's vestments in the pictures you posted are nothing but the Cardinal's official clothing, not Raymond Burke's personal fashion statement.

The Pope could no more criticize that than criticize a U.S. Marine office for wearing Dress Blues.

Burke is very much to be commended for his lack of personal politicking on his own behalf, and his explicit and perfect obedience to the Pope.

I hear you but the press is printing a different story.I've already had 3 people saying they were leaving the church over this. It's time to let the dust settle and get a better view of what is happening.Just my opinion.

Those who would leave the Curch over this, would leave Christ because of Judas.

Easy to say but some souls believe what they read.People are calling me cursing and yelling.People are angry and confused.Even our own Cardinal is confused.”I was very disturbed by what happened’ at the synod, Chaput said, according to Huffington Post. ‘I think confusion is of the devil, and I think the public image that came across was one of confusion.”

I reiterate: if people are leaving the Church because of confusion, they would have left when one Apostle betrayed Jesus, one (His right-hand man) denied Him three times, and the rest (save John) headed for the tall grass.

First recorded instance of bishops acting collegially.

How rightly St. Francis de Sales said, that "Those who give scandal are soul-murderers, but those who TAKE scandal are soul-suicides."

I am not unsympathetic with the suffering that is going on, since I suffer it myself. But it's not our place to jump ship. You don't right the ship's course by launching out in a rubber raft.

Read the Lives of the Saints. These things are going on because we are not applying the remedy so urgently and repeatedly recommended by Our Lady: prayer and sacrifice. And by "sacrifice"" I mean bodily mortification. We are not doing this, and so these scandals continue.

I am not, BTW, offering myself as a model for these virtues, as I sit here sipping my Coke and tormenting the keyboard.

I need to practice what I preach.

Paraphrasing Pope Paul VI, it seems that smoke of Hell have entered the Church when Pope Francis opened the Vatican doors to the Marxist Liberation Theology.

H.H. Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI: “Cardinal Raymond Burke is one of the great cardinals of the Church.”

St. Catherine of Siena, "We've had enough of exhortations to be silent! Cry out with a hundred thousand tongues. I see that the world is rotten because of silence."

Given his choice among various papal vestments, Pope Francis has generally chosen less regal ones. It seems he expects other Catholic clerics to do similarly.

Pope Francis is said to favor a plainer style. He knows, however, that vestments are not about personal luxury. They are but one way of expressing the majesty of serving in the House of the Lord.

I would not want to think the Pope would be so shallow as to judge a man by the lace on his alb.

This Pope is a total disgrace to himself, to his religion and to Christianity.

He needs to retire - SOON.
