Cardinal Raymond Burke had been serving as Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura for six years.

If Cardinal Burke were not such a holy man he could have told Francis he voted for Obama. He would have gotten a promotion instead of demotion.

What is the real story behind these reported actions. What has he done so egregiously wrong that it merits what appears to be a major demotion?

Burke, 66, would have had a good decade remaining to continue serving in high-profile Vatican posts Our next Pope.

The pope is a man in his late 70s.

“The prophecy of the popes” which seems like a hoax in its construction.
Written in vague indistinct fashion that could be interpreted however one wishes.

May he, like Cincinattus, be recalled to service of the Church in a more useful role.

The pope wants the “princes of the church” (cardinals) to give up their lavish lifestyles and embrace humility. Sounds good to me.

The Catholic church is reaching the levels of debauchery and corruption they had in the Middle Ages.

And embrace poverty along with humility. And embrace homosexuals (repentance evidently not required).

Sounds like the current Pope really is a master of destruction not likely to help build up your church.

The pope is also a man in the final stages of dementia.

Bet Burke’s regal raiments in that photo explain to a high degree the pope’s disapprobation of him. Francis sees ostentatiousness as ill befitting the clergy.

Try buying a clue before making yourself look utterly ignorant.
This has not a single thing to do with "humility." If it did, Francis would be the one who needs the lesson.
