Are we talking salvation or butts in the seats here? Seems like the Cardinal is mainly concerned with the former.

I’m sure there are many good people living in sin these days because they don’t know any better - they have been fooled by Satan’s culture into thinking they are OK. God will arrange for these people to hear the truth. I suspect this rarely happens in a church pew - they will come to church once they are convicted of the need to repent. Until then, most of them would feel like they have fallen down a rabbit hole at most churches.

Of course not. Administering communion is a no-no for me as well.

Actually, we’ve already reached that point. Only about 12 American bishops, and only about three bishops in all of Europe, insist that people who support sticking scissors in babies’ necks MUST be given Communion.

Yikes. Preafrooding needed.

Actually, we’ve already reached that point. Only about 12 American bishops, and only about three bishops in all of Europe, DO NOT insist that people who support sticking scissors in babies’ necks MUST be given Communion.

Pope St. Pius X declared in his 1907 Encyclical “Pascendi Dominici Gregis” that Modernism is the “synthesis of all heresies.” We have a pope who is a Modernist; ergo, he is a heretic. Where does that leave us? We are sheep without a shepherd. No, actually we aren’t. It’s worse than that. We are sheep being led by a wolf in shepherd’s clothing. Our Lady of Fatima, Pray for Us!

No, they’re marked by sin.

At least we have the Sacrament of Confession.

Which doesn’t do anyone any good if the people living in sin are being validated by the church and don’t see their need for repentance.

Cardinal Vincent Nichols, of “Soho Mass” fame. Undermining Church teaching is a recurring theme in his “ministry”.
