We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Oh my, those SILLY Ephesians! We modern, enlightened, educated, advanced, sophisticated, intellectual, rational, and hip people would NEVER riot if someone took our idols away!
Or would we?

There is a very important industry in Japan, where very young girls and boys are educated, groomed, drilled, and packaged to be the next big musical sensation. Since R & B and Rock Music are not culturally native to Japan, the genre has to be manufactured. This process is called "Idol-Making", and the practice has passed over to the USA. No longer do kids work out guitar riffs in the garage, hoping for "The Big Break". Instant Communications and a huge network provides a steady stream of "idols" who flame briefly and then are discarded when they fall. Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, and countless others are prime examples. Some of these kids are actually talented, but they are not encouraged to mature as artists. They are only useful as long as they are IDOLS.

Demetrius The Silversmith understood human nature very well. He knew that people are unable (in their flesh) to worship something they can't see or describe. He knew that they would fiercely defend their idol, and thus, ensure his livelihood.

Have things really changed all that much in 2000 years?
