Can’t read past the word “inauguration.”
Popes are not inaugurated.
***A newly modern stance on issues such as charity, service, money, divorce and gay marriage has given Pope Francis universal, inter-denominational appeal.***
If this is true about widespread ‘appeal’, that alone is worrysome. Matthew 7:13 comes to mind.
In addition, I don’t remember the chapter and verse, but Jesus said: “The servant is not greater than his master. They hated me, they will hate also you”.
I wonder how many are living together without being married at all?
How does one stumble upon such tripe? Do you have a son/daughter at this school?
Worst Pope in several centuries. He is an egotistical, shallow, nasty tyrant. He is elevating the worst Cardinals and persecuting the best. There’s no “translation problem” involved in his reliance on scum like Wuerl and O’Malley. There’s no “translation problem” in his humiliation of Cardinal Burke and the persecution of the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate.
The legalization of the termination of pregnancy is none other than the authorization given to an adult, with the approval of an established law, to take the lives of children yet unborn and thus incapable of defending themselves. It is difficult to imagine a more unjust situation, and it is very difficult to speak of obsession in a matter such as this, where we are dealing with a fundamental imperative of every good conscience the defense of the right to life of an innocent and defenseless human being.
- St. John Paul II
“4.5 million are divorced and remarried without an annulment”
Practicing Catholics know the rules. If they were married before and want to receive communion they need to apply for an annulment and prove they have a valid reason for ending their marriage vows. Only Cafeteria Catholics have a problem with church rules. Plus protestants, who shouldn’t care anyway.
