I didn’t say that. I pointed out that he didn’t mention Christ so the “something higher” could be something other than Christ. Scripture clearly states that we are to test the spirits whether they be of God.
“It is always a church.”
Actually, it’s THE Church, the Body of Christ, the Catholic Church.
“From one false religion to another...the blind leading the blind. Very sad.”
Or perhaps the real blindness is anti-Catholicism. That seems far more likely.
Let me fix it for you.
“Realization set in that, every single time I was at Mass, I was in the presence of CHRIST and I could feel the yearning for CHRIST wanting for me to be closer. There was no other place I would rather be!
“Like he said. Nothing about Christ. Only that mysterious something higher. Satan appearing as an angel of light is something higher.”
Nothing about Christ? Did you even read the story?:
“Being able to take in the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ through the Eucharist is a moment that cannot be expressed into words. I just thank my God for guiding me along on this journey and helping me see His face through so many people and events throughout my life!”
Feel free to judge it “far more likely” if you wish.
For myself, I’ll stick with Christ’s judgment of that false religion called Catholicism.
“I pointed out that he didnt mention Christ ...”
But you were wrong:
Being able to take in the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ through the Eucharist is a moment that cannot be expressed into words. I just thank my God for guiding me along on this journey and helping me see His face through so many people and events throughout my life!
“Feel free to judge it far more likely if you wish.”
I’m only concerned with truth. Feelings would be a separate issue in any case.
“For myself, Ill stick with Christs judgment of that false religion called Catholicism.”
Christ’s judgment is that the Catholic Church is His Church. He founded her, protects her, and no amount of “feelings” on your part will change that. You oppose Christ when you attack His Church as false. And that is exactly what you’re doing.
On the contrary. Jesus condemns all false religions - Catholicism included - according to the will of the Holy Father.
His Holy Father and mine is in heaven. Yours is in Rome.
The Holy Father in Rome? His Holy Father is in heaven. Christ’s, too. Yours, too. And mine, too.

Hello, Mrs. Don-o. Hope you’re well. I had wondered if, after our lengthy discussion a month ago, you had abandoned man-made Catholicism to follow the true religion of Jesus Christ.
Christ founded the Catholic Church on the Apostles because he knew he was going to ascend to the Father.
Sorry that you don’t believe your Bible.
Christ told the apostles to follow his example: “As the Father has sent me, even so I send you” (John 20:21). Just as the apostles were to carry Christs message to the whole world, so they were to carry his forgiveness: “Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matt. 18:18).
This power was understood as coming from God: “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Cor. 5:18). Indeed, confirms Paul, “So we are ambassadors for Christ” (2 Cor. 5:20).
Thank you for your good will. Feel free to come aboard.
You are so wrong...saddens me....
Typo. Guess I'm not indefectible... :o)
Oh, I believe the Bible alright. But it seems the difference between us, is that I follow it.
“And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.” (Matt. 23:9)
But Catholicism has never been about following the Father. They have a different god, sitting on a man’s throne. They kneel before this false-god - something Peter (whom they suppose was the first Holy Father) wouldn’t permit.
But since Catholics won’t listen to the true Holy Father, they won’t listen to His Son either. And since they won’t listen to the Son, they won’t listen to His apostles either.
Their man-made religion is as worthless as the JW’s. The poor fellow in the article sounds as though he was looking for the religion of the Holy Father. Too bad he stumbled into the ditch of Catholicism.
Please address the quotes that I sent you. Why do you change the subject? It’s not about me.
I hope you discover the leaks in that boat before it’s too late. They point out fatal structural weaknesses. It’ll be broken into driftwood when the Lord comes.
