Wasn’t Mars Hill the former church of Rob Bell, who wrote “Love Wins”, denying the doctrines of hell and judgement, and then endorsed homosexual marriage?

I would need to do some research, but I believe that there are many churches called “Mars Hill” around the country - unrelated.

I do know that the pastor at Mars Hill made some upset when he stated that only Jesus can save you from your sins and to get to heaven. (Imagine that!!!)

There is the high-profile thing too though. There was a video with the pastor and several Seattle Seahawks players talking about faith.

I saw a headline where some of the satellite churches were accusing the head pastor of “bullying” - but didn't read the article.

No, I don't think Rob Bell ever had anything to do with Mars Hill which is a charismatic church and very anti-gay. They were much hated by Seattle's LGBT community.

The universalist “Love Wins” Rob Bell is from Mars Hill in Grand Rapids, no relationship to the other Mars Hill churches.
