If reports are to be believed, a compromise is in the works that will amount to nothing less than an endorsement of the gay identity in the 2015 NYC St. Patrick's Day parade.
The Irish Times reports that under pressure from NBC, not only will a group be allowed to march in the parade with a gay identity banner (something previously banned) but that none other than Timothy Cardinal Dolan will be Grand Marshal.

He presents as a gregarious, back-slapping used car salesman / wannabe politician.

Dolan is a massive disappointment. No pun intended.

No surprise. This is the same guy who invited Obama to speak at the Al Smith dinner. Dolan has been showing his true colors for some time now. To quote the late great Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen:

Actually, I think there’s something a little creepy about him. When BXVI was pope (and don’t forget, that’s who appointed him, because he was supposedly a conservative back in cheese land) he had to toe the line a little closer. But now with Pope Francis, he obviously feels that anything goes.
The form of the mass has nothing to do with this.

I can not imagine this would come to pass as “charitable action”, but clearly as actual endorsement of an abomination, despite words to the contrary. Actions always speak louder than ear tickling words.
Killing off the rise of the Traditional Latin Mass in NY has kept Dolan happily engaged but apparently not satisfied. Now this?
