I am not Catholic and am not judging; however, by observation I really haven’t seen much of an outcry from nuns in the media. I was a dorm director in a Catholic institution and I know they can really present their case. I would think that their voice would be listened to by the flock. Maybe they are under the democratic stronghold of the church.

Lol. Not the nuns I've known and know. They are, at least in this country, fairly independent. The first thing that happened was OUT WITH THE NUN'S HABIT. Now, you would be hard pressed to know these women ARE nuns.

There are fewer and fewer nuns around GENERALLY, so since they have nothing to lose, they pretty much have things their own way.

I'm around nuns everyday at Mass. That's how I know these things. Finally, I haven't seen a convent around for decades. Most of the nuns live independently.

“I really haven’t seen much of an outcry from nuns in the media.”

LOL, I’m not laughing at you. The media is so tightly controlled and filtered that even if the sisters held placards and stopped all traffic on I-95 by standing in the middle of the lanes, there would be crickets from the “news.”

We are subject to propaganda, not news.

Now, if the sisters promoted abortion or had a tunnel leading to a donut shop, that would be news.
