Many years ago you said to Jeremiah: At one time I will suddenly speak concerning a nation or kingdom, that I will pluck up and break down and destroy it; And if [the people of] that nation concerning which I have spoken turn from their evil, I will relent and reverse My decision concerning the evil that I thought to do to them. At another time I will suddenly speak concerning a nation or kingdom, that I will build up and plant it; (Jeremiah 18:7-9) Knowing that You never change, we ask You for a reversal of the direction in which our Nation is headed. Sir, build it up and re-plant it on the firm foundation of Your truths and righteousness.
We pray that as You pour out of Your Spirit on all flesh that You would complete that work You have begun in Your people. Make us the holy and mighty workers who expand Your Kingdom through Your Spirit within us.
We pray for our enemies—those who have been deceived by the lies of Islam. By Your loving Spirit, enlighten the eyes of their understanding to know the height, depth, length and breadth of Your love for them. With God, all things are possible.
Protect our military men and women no matter where they are stationed. Let Your Word have free course among them and show them how great Your grace is towards them. Thank You for intervening by Your love in the affairs of men. We pray in the name of Jesus and agree together by saying, “Amen.”
Please pray today for our military and for our Nation to be re-molded by God's grace.
