COLUMBUS, Ohio Students in an Ohio State University psychology class are being taught that atheists have higher IQs than Christians, according to a report from a college watchdog organization.
Campus Reform notes that a question from a recent online psychology quiz from the university implied that religious beliefs were directly related to IQ levels.
Theo has an IQ of 100 and Aine has an IQ of 125, the quiz stated. Which of the following statements would you expect to be true?
Students were then asked to select an answer from the following four options:
1.Aine is an atheist, while Theo is a Christian. 2.Aine earns less money than Theo. 3.Theo is more liberal than Aine. 4.Theo is an atheist, while Aine is a Christian.
According to the school, the correct answer is option #1.

Based on virtually every article I've seen, modern college makes you stupider, and is a financially terrible bet.
I think if I were an HR professional for a big company, I would urge management to consider that a modern liberal arts undergrad degree indicates a lack of intelligence and common sense.
Actually, Aine is most likely to be Jewish.
Isaac Newton, as we all know- was a complete dullard.
Anti- Christian bigotry and supine ignorance pervades in our Universities.
History shows contributions of Catholic Church to Western civilization

TOPEKA, Kan. About the least fashionable thing one can do these days is utter a kind word about the Catholic Church. The idea that the church has been an obstacle to human progress has been elevated to the level of something everybody thinks he knows. But to the contrary, it is to the Catholic Church more than to any other institution that we owe so many of the treasures of Western civilization. Knowingly or not, scholars operated for two centuries under an Enlightenment prejudice that assumes all progress to come from religious skeptics, and that whatever the church touches is backward, superstitious, even barbaric.
Since the mid-20th century, this unscholarly prejudice has thankfully begun to melt away, and professors of a variety of religious backgrounds, or none at all, increasingly acknowledge the church’s contributions.
Nowhere has the revision of what we thought we knew been more dramatic than in the study of the history of science.
We all remember what we learned in fourth grade: While scientists were bravely trying to uncover truths about the universe and improve our quality of life, stupid churchmen who hated reason and simply wanted the faithful to shut up and obey placed a ceaseless stream of obstacles in their path.
Great article, thanks for the link.
I have an IQ higher than both. Yet, I believe in God.
Or would that be bigoted?
And do they acknowledge that God refers to atheists as “fools” who will perish, while Christians will enjoy everlasting life in the presence of the “All Wise One.”
Correct answer: “Both Theo and Aline are smarter than whoever made up this test”....
I was an agnostic once, but was never so stupid as to consider myself an atheist.
