HAMAS is actually an acronym...

Hamas (Arabic: حماس‎ Ḥamās, "enthusiasm", an acronym of حركة المقاومة الاسلامية Ḥarakat al-Muqāwamah al-ʾIslāmiyyah, "Islamic Resistance Movement")

The fact the G-d foresaw this and gave the Hebrews "Hamas" as their word for violence is amazing!

Actually Fatah is Hataf spelled backwards.

Hataf in Arabic is synonymous with conquest, vengeance and death
