Yes - I’m a sailor who also learned to sail when young & when an adult my father got a 37’ sailboat (center cockpit Irwin) in which we sailed the Gulf of Mexico......my brother OTH is a power boat guy - the article describes us each quite well.

We sailed when I was a kid too, we had a wooden Lightning, 3 sails if you count the jib, very cool
