TWO YEARS?!? For doing, to a 13 year old boy:

• during a group Bible study session, (...) they twisted his nipples with pliers;
• forced him to dig his own grave;
• tossed dirt on him from above, as though they were burying him alive;
• rubbed salt into the cuts on his back;
• etc., etc.

His orders to scare the boy provided all three men the chance to fullfill every hurtful thing they could dream up. They all felt righteous and just in their cruelty, because it was suposedly for showing the teen how to live properly, ready to accept responsibility for all his actions. Two years is an insult to civilized behavior. Story doesn’t say who turned them in and why. I’m guessing it was the hospital. Moms too stupid or disconnected.
