Churches who adapt to Political Correctness end up dying. But the poison is to sweet to avoid.
They want force people to have sex and be perverted, doing the sins for them... Who needs a pedophile scandal when it is the norm to reward a child for sinning for them.
Our current Church has a thriving young adult population. We teach only the word of God. Speaks to everyone at a different level.
Does the Word of God step on toes? You bet it does! Watering down the Word into a feel good tell you what you want to hear message will fill the seats. The hard to swallow stuff truth is what makes you better person. It is also what drives people away.
I came across a show about religion this morning. The speaker said that churches decided politics was dirty and they had no business getting involved. This was in the 1960’s and 1970’s. He said many things happened to get laws passed that were not good for Christians. We were silent far too long. It is way past time for mainline churches to make our views known. Everything he said made sense.
