GOD CHOSE YOU (in the beginning) -

It’s amazing isn’t it? As I read down through the article I looked up each text cited. In each case the Catholic Church has tweaked it just a little to mean what they want. Of course when they do that other texts must by necessity take on meaning they did not have and they end up with the apostasy that is Catholicism.
First of all, God having chosen us does not mean that He created others to go to hell. All men are destined for hell until God saves them. Man in his sinful nature is totally incapable of believing God. We will never know in this life why it is that God chooses the ones He does but we must have faith that what He does is best.
Any attempt at giving man credit for choosing God is contrary to the teaching of scripture.
