This is true. But it isn't the presence of patterns in the text per se, but the impossibly low probability of mere randomness. The researchers have found innumerable "codes" that don't meet the qualifications they are looking for.

The likelihood of randomness is measured in something called "p-values." The lower the p-value, the less likely the phenomenon is random. According to Dr. Jeffrey Satinover, a p-value of one in twenty is sufficient to regard something as true. The p-value of some of these Torah codes is less than one in 62,500.

Furthermore, these particular codes aren't even found in the rest of the Bible . . . they are only in the Torah, the book G-d Himself wrote before the creation of the universe.
