Thank you. It was a difficult thing to do and some members left our congregation because of it, but it was the right thing to do.
It was definitely the right thing to do, after all these years of false or anti-Christian “gospels” bring preached in your former church. You can remain I
Independent it check out some sort of affiliation with any of the several other denominations out there, your call. (I’ve been known to quietly leave when directly false/ anti-Biblical preaching was coming down. I stayed long enough to ascertain if it was just a mistake but, alas, it was purposeful and continuing. Better to stay home than sit through, and support with our membership, deliberate false teachings on things that are quite clearly set forth in Scripture. There are many doctrines upon which reasonable people can differ, I can
Accept and can deal with that. I can’t just sit there when we are bring told to believe or support patently false things ( that directly deny or contradict God’s word ). I am pleased to visit many kinds of congregations whose doctrines I may disagree with so long as it appears they’re trying to follow the Judeo-Christian message ,I won’t step one foot anymore into your former denomination’s churches. In my humble opinion, they’ve chosen to damn themselves.
