ED has various causes. Sadly, compulsively using internet porn is one of them. In fact, ED as a result of internet porn use is becoming a serious public health issue especially among adolescents. Since ED of this type originates in the brain, Viagra apparently does nothing to help.
Although porn induced ED is a fairly new and pitiful condition, we should not overlook a similar, extremely common problem—one no one seems to be talking about. It occurs among those—men and women—who are unable to find sexual pleasure in their marriages.
Even while being intimate with their spouses, they rely on the wanton images or scripts of the world to get aroused. In fact, without conjuring up the dazzling enticements floating around in their imagination, they are impotent.
Let’s call this “Marital ED”.....

The underlying reason for the popularity of porn is that boys and girls from a young age are effectively segregated until the age of 18, when out of the blue they are expected to date, marry, have children and live happily ever after.
Even dogs raised in isolation from other dogs will still want to mate, but they have no way of relating to other dogs than as “the enemy”, because they are not part of their pack.
Why should children be expected to be any different?
When asked, most people *assume* that children are socialized in school or in church, but this is not true, because in both situations, adults keep them so busy that no socialization happens.
Making things much worse, the culture indoctrinates children into thinking that even at a young age, their peers are involved with those of the other gender, that they date, have sex, even develop loving relationships. So by default, those that don’t are unwanted and unlovely.
If you look at a school class of high school freshmen, perhaps 29 out of 30 are virgins. The one who isn’t was by definition, sexually abused or raped. And not being physically or emotionally ready for sex, they are often stripped of the joy or love that can be found with it.
A superb example of this is in the news today: the California serial shooter, now deceased, left a video proclaiming his misery that girls ignore him and won’t have sex with him. It is pathetic to watch.
This *boy* had ridiculous assumptions of girls and women, and it was likely *not* caused by porn, but by the continual barrage of media telling him he was abnormal.
Combined with never having had a chance to get to know girls socially, in a polite, chaperoned way, without the distractions of adults demanding their attention on other things.
The *boy* was not abnormal. What he said on that video was what hundreds of thousands of his peers, boys and girls, are thinking right now. He was the only one though, whose frustrations finally turned to violence.
He probably won’t continue to be the only one.

It usually stands for education. Did you ever take a class called Phys Ed?
But since Viagra was mentioned, it is a very good bet that the ED stands for erectile disfunction ... but of course we would not expect you to understand that connection.

ED is a term that is being misused here.
The medical condition has more to do with restricted blood flow than it does with porn. Telling someone with true ED that it’s because of watching porn on their computer is simply idiotic.
But I guess those who get bored with their sex life have to find an excuse—because we all must be victims.

I recently heard a veteran porn actress—in a YouTube interview—say that the last place anyone should learn about sex is porn! It’s a FANTASY! The women and men in it are being PAID to say the things they say and do the things they do.
IMO it’s just a hop skip and a jump from novels to movies to porn because it’s all a substitute for real life. Ditch all make-believe and love God through his Son, then love your husband or wife with all that freed up mental energy, physical energy. And have sex often! (Lol, my Doctor wrote a book and that’s one of the chapter titles. )
