God has blessed you.
I understand that and you understand that, but the homosexual will not.
??? How would I even know someone was a homosexual, if they didn’t let it be known?
When you get down to the conversation of, "I know you are but what am I?", you should dust off your shoes and move on. Casting pearls before swine does no good. The Holy Spirit is in control of who God calls and who isn't called. Even homosexuals can overcome with Christ as was stated in Corinthians where Paul named some sins and then said "And such were some of you." I don't even argue about being born that way or not, God will deliver anyone from any stronghold. Even Paul complained about a "thorn" in his side but God said His grace was sufficient. We don't really know if the "thorn" was of the flesh or a mental conflict.
The main job for the Christian is to stop rebelling against God and start agreeing with Him. An active homosexual is in direct conflict with God's Will. If he abstains, he can be saved as well as any Christian in temptation with sin. Many people can't pass a $5 bill on a table without figuring how they are going to get it in their pocket unnoticed. Everyone has their weaknesses, but God, can overcome them for you. If you have the opportunity to speak to a homosexual in a normal voice, perhaps God has prepared his heart to receive what you are saying. You will know within a sentence or 2 if he will receive it. If he refuses, then his blood is not on your hands. Passing someone up, however, could be a mark against you, and if they die and go to hell, their blood could be on your hands.
We weren't saved to sit in our living rooms and watch TV for the next 30 years. There is a harvest and very few workers. God wants us involved in His Kingdom. Loving a homosexual enough to open your pie hole for Christ is just Christianity 101. It is even possible to be persecuted or killed serving Christ, but we aren't even willing to speak with someone for their own salvation. I know Christians that are hesitant to even speak with their own children saying they can make up their own mind when they are older.
The US was a much nicer place when they kept it to themselves. Here in Maine they flaunt it.
Rep. Michauds op-ed column: Yes, Im gay. Now lets get our state back on track
By Mike Michaud
When I entered the race for governor, I did so because I love the state of Maine and am tired of seeing it dragged in the wrong direction. There was never any question that it would be a tough race, but I know I have the vision, the experience and the commitment to lead Maine forward. ... http://www.pressherald.com/opinion/Mike_Michaud__Yes__I_m_gay__Now_let_s_get_our_state_back_on_track_.html?pagenum=full
