I disagree. It has failed them by NOT standing firm.
It hasn’t stood firm on marriage.
It hasn’t stood firm on divorce.
It hasn’t stood firm on holiness.
It hasn’t stood firm on evangelism.
It hasn’t stood firm on the Bible.
It hasn’t stood firm on unity.
I could go on and on.
The bottom line is that these wolves look at our hypocrisy and figure “why not try a BIG lie this time?”
