Jesus, we hear You when You say, : Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.(Luke 24) and so we determine not to be troubled. JESUS IS ALIVE!!! You are not a dead God who cannot save us! Glory to You!
As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God. (Romans 14) Holy God, we pray for our military men and women. You have put each one on our hearts, which is why we are here today. Our hearts desire is that every one will bow to You and confess to God on this side of eternity. You are able, Holy Spirit, to convict them concerning righteousness and to send laborers into that harvest so that faith in You can come. Thank You for the grace that will accomplish this. Preserve their lives until they can approach You in faith with this confession.
We pray for those leaders in Washington, D.C., who are making decisions concerning where and how our troops are deployed. Give them Your precious wisdom and understanding, laying aside pride, greed and other unholy motivations that would keep them from making correct decisions. Move them by Your Spirit, we pray!
To us, this is a big prayer, but we know that with God all things are possible. Thank You for hearing us as we pray today in Jesus name. Amen.
Thank you for praying today.
I join in prayer for our heroes and nation!
Joining you in Prayer today for Our American Heroes and Our Nation!
Read: 1 Corinthians 15:50-58
A few days ago, I spied my old friend Bob vigorously pedaling a bike at our neighborhood gym and staring down at a blood pressure monitor on his finger.
What are you doing? I asked.
Looking to see if Im alive, he grunted.
What would you do if you saw you were dead? I countered.
Shout hallelujah! he replied with a radiant smile.
Over the years Ive caught glimpses of great inner strength in Bob: patient endurance in the face of physical decline and discomfort, and faith and hope as he approaches the end of his life journey. Indeed he has found not only hope, but death has lost its power to tyrannize him.
Who can find peace and hopeand even joyin dying? Only those who are joined by faith to the God of eternity and who know that they have eternal life (1 Cor. 15:52,54). For those who have this assurance, like my friend Bob, death has lost its terror. They can speak with colossal joy of seeing Christ face to face!
Amen.
Amen, Hiskid

Amen! Lord, we know it is not Your desire that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. May the day of repentance come to each one who does not know You, and may it be followed by the acceptance of Your beautiful gift of salvation. In the Name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
