He died about 3P on Fri. The Jewish day ends about 6P. That is day one Jesus is dead - not a complete day but a day anyway for which we account. He is dead complete Sat past its sunset. Sometime prior to sunrise Sunday Jesus rose. That is third day - not a complete day but a day for which we must account.
