I don’t come here for theology, but rather politics and the like. If you want to discuss religion, go right ahead. That’s not my purpose here, and I don’t want to argue with someone who clearly has different beliefs. What’d be the point?

Not really. I assume that most here are already fairly conservative or they wouldn't be at such a site. Plus, one’s personal spiritual beliefs are much more tightly held than political ideology, in my experience. I'm not going to convince a committed Catholic that Luther and Protestantism are right.
