I feel connected with only our Latin Mass and other traditional elements here and there, as well as the faith and doctrine taught by the Catholic Church. The organizational hierarchy, and the mainstream lay catholics, not so much.

Makes me ashamed to be a Roman Catholic to see this. One bishop's decision may embarrass you but it should not be the source of shame for your faith. If anything, it should prompt you to pray for him.

I SO AGREE WITH YOU.
why be Catholic then? I might as well be episcopalian or Non denominational. Ok, Church dudes...which part of the doctrine can I take and which can I leave???You just told the world and that school they can pick and chose...just unbelievable.
so, let me get this right...I just throw a temper tantrum and I get to say “I don’t FEEL its fair I have to go to church every sunday! and I will just confess those sins that don’t get me upset.”
