Nope. I don’t think the Pope even brought it up. I think he left the “Catholic work” up to Vatican Secretary of State Pietro Cardinal Parolin. If you hear otherwise, please let me know.
Sadly, Ebbtide, I’m afraid you are most likely correct in your supposition of what the pope had to say in that meeting. I do hope we are both wrong on that, as to believe, as you are suggesting, that the pope did not have the spiritual courage to defend our faith as he sat before this mendacious disgrace for our president, is truly frightening.
