yeah but not when you are getting beaten daily or when the spouse is so addled by alcohol or drugs as to be insane most of the time.
Like it or not there is nothing spiritual or loving about keeping your children in a household full of danger and insanity.

I used to be on a Beginning Experience team and I can spot posters who still have that anger and resentment toward a former spouse brewing inside of them.
