Father, we pray for our troops who are in danger, whether home or abroad, that You would shield them and comfort their families.
Lord, we pray for Ukraine, that You would protect them and give them peace.
O God, we remember the days of long ago; we mediate on all Your works and consider what Your hands have done – how You brought forth the world out of nothing, how You made the suns and stars of a thousand whirling systems with the breath of Your mouth. From the oldest days You have exercised righteousness and kindness on the earth – sending just and true judgments, causing the sun to shine, bringing the rain. You chose one man and through his offspring blessed all men. You took on our humanity and walked among us, until You died to conquer all that was against us. We spread out our hands to You; our souls thirst for You like a parched land. Lord, let us know the springs of living water You have opened for us, in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
