I don’t know if (I) we can imitate that... and if I did, I don’t think I would crow that I did it...
Lent appears to be a lot of ‘all about me’, ‘all about here’ and ‘all about now’.
What ‘I’ am doing or ‘willing to ‘give up’...
I am reminded of the word’s ‘It is finished’..
Who the Son sets free, should be free indeed....
Free to live for Him.. Imitate His love..daily..no longer ‘me, here, now’..
But churchianity has its grips on folks...
