Home Ministry spokesman Didik Suprayitno said his office had yet to receive information regarding Aceh’s bylaw.
However, he added, “basically all local regulations must be in line with national laws”. Moreover, he said, all local regulations would be reviewed first by his office.

It's a start, but that is not what the Muslims want, they want Govt. laws to be subordinate to Sharia law.
I am sure the Muslims will work on that, no matter how long it takes to accomplish what Allah wants done.-TOM

Indonesia, while majority Muslim, is a patchwork quilt of different religions and even of degrees of severity in Islamic beliefs. This region has long been a hotbed of fundamentalism. Christianity is widespread but under great pressure. I think everyone recalls Timor.
