Why not believe it? Were you a witness? Do you know the family? There were collaborators and I'm not talking about other family members. If I were them, though, there is NO WAY I would have consulted a clairvoyant.

What happened to reliance on physical and eyewitness testimentary evidence?

Or doesn't empirical science make use that anymore? Maybe we should just rely on computer modeling, like the IPCC.

It takes more superstition to believe in metaphysical naturalism (which is essentially what contemporary science accepts as true without fully examining it in a larger context) than it does to believe the boy walked up the wall.

Metaphysical naturalism necessarily asserts that there is no such thing as intentionality, and that the self is not real.

Christ spent a lot of his ministry casting out demons, yet today even Christians find the idea hard to believe.

There are priests and ministers out there either downplaying stories like this, or trying to say its bunk altogether.
